2015 Bus 2 The Bowl - That's A Wrap!
1,350! The number of busses of youngsters (and their chaperones) that made their way to a UCLA home football game through the Count On Me Bus 2 The Bowl program during the 2015 season.
24! The number of child-focused organizations and schools that participated in Bus 2 The Bowl in 2015.
7! The number of local high school football teams that donated their time and energy to Bus 2 The Bowl.
Priceless! The smiles and laughter of over twelve hundred children, that had the ultimate football experience.
In its second season, Bus 2 The Bowl provided kids, ages 7-13, from the greater Los Angeles area the chance to experience that thrill of “going to the game” at the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium. Every Saturday home game in 2015, five or more busses picked up pre-selected youth and their chaperones and took them on an adventure most of these children wouldn’t have the chance to experience.
An exclusive tailgate party included a meal provided by our generous in-kind donors and inflatable interactive games and then general admission into the Rose Bowl for a UCLA football game. A t-shirt, snacks and other goodies rounded out the escapade to Pasadena.
