Our Fifth Annual Jim Mora Celebrity Golf Classic will be held Monday, June 27, 2011 at The Golf Club of Newcastle in Newcastle, Washington. The charity tournament will once again raise funds for local children’s charities and programs through our Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation. Among our signature charities, Special Olympics Washington and Boys & Girls Club, we support many other children’s organizations and programs whose focus is aligned with our mission of helping children in need and at risk.   Last year’s tournament raised over $211,000 for over 17 different children’s charities.
 
The Jim Mora Celebrity Golf Classic brings together friends from the sports and entertainment industries to “tee it up” for charity.   The Golf Classic matches foursomes with a celebrity for a fun-filled day of golf on the picturesque Golf Club at Newcastle.  Golfers will compete for prizes from start to finish, enjoy great food on the course, and join in our famous BackSwing Bash & Auction Dinner that evening.  Once again, at our Car Shoot Out on the 18th hole, one lucky golfer will drive away with a new car, courtesy of Michael’s Toyota of Bellevue.  The BackSwing Bash not only includes a gourmet dinner, but features a live auction boasting unique sports memorabilia, one-of-a-kind experiences, and amazing trips to Super Bowl XLVI, and the 2012 Pro Bowl.  A celebrity-studded VIP Appreciation Party will be hosted by Joey Restaurants in Bellevue the night before the Golf Classic, on Sunday, June 26. You won’t want to miss this incredible event!
